“Il giudice e i suoi assassini” (The Judge and His Killers) is the story of Rosario Livatino, a young magistrate from Agrigento who, during the difficult 1980s, challenged the mafia system, putting his own life at risk to defend fundamental values: respect for the law, justice, and the right to live in peace. Livatino fought against organized crime until September 21, 1990, when he was killed in a brutal mafia attack. The protagonist, in the role of the judge, is Giuseppe De Domenico, alongside Leonardo Maltese, Nino Frassica, Michela De Rossi, Brenno Placido, Ninni Bruschetta, Francesco Benigno, and a cast of exceptional actors and actresses.
